Now a regular garden bird in much of England, Ring-necked Parakeet (also known as Rose-ringed Parakeet) is natively from India where it is a common bird throughout the country.

Through Bubo Birding, I now lead bird and wildlife tours throughout India. Why not consider joining me and I will show you some of the fantastic birds – and cats! – in my “garden”!

The signature Birds and Tigers tour visits Kipling country: the magnificent tiger reserves of Bandhavgarh and Kanha in Central India, along with Bharatpur, the most famous bird reserve. And a visit to this part of the world would be incomplete without also seeing the awe-inspiring Taj Mahal.

In association with India’s premier wildlife ecotourism company, Asian Adventures, Bubo Birding offers tours across the country. Please visit our website and we hope to be able to show you some of India’s amazing wildlife, in and out of gardens!

Wow, this sounds fantastic! I’ve always wanted to visit India but have been a bit nervous about it. I’ve sent you a message on the Bubo Birding website.

Thanks very much Marjorie. I’ve received your mail and will reply with details later. I’m well aware of some of the nervousness about visiting India. Somehow my sense of humour has kept me surviving here after 15 years! We aim for hassle-free (as far as possible in India!) trips and I’m sure you would have a wonderful time.
